The Government Primary School in Dhola village, Barmer district, serves over 400 children from Scheduled Tribe and OBC communities. The school has dedicated teachers but no library whatsoever — children have no access to books beyond their basic textbooks.
Our goal is to set up a proper library with 1,000+ books (storybooks, encyclopaedias, science books, comics), reading tables, chairs, and book racks. A library not only supports learning but also keeps children engaged and reduces dropout rates. ₹3 lakh is all we need to transform a room into a world of knowledge.
Beneficiary's Story
Children in this remote school have never had access to books beyond their textbooks. A library will open a whole new world for them.
